The Best Core Exercises And Core Stability Exercises

Workout 1

Weight lifting and muscle building coach Vince Delmonte demonstrates a fantastic core strength routine which uses only the basic of equipment which can be found in any gym or even by using household objects.

 

Medicine Ball Wood Chopper

wood chops core strength 1: Start with your arms extended holding the medicine ball up and to your right.


2.Bring medicine ball down in a wood chop ping motion towards your left foot.


3.During this motion your feet stay stationary and you rotate at your trunk. Repeat this motion for the desired repetitions and then repeat in the opposite direction.



Dumbbell Side Bends

Starting Position: Stand with your feet about shoulder width apart.
Hold a DB in each hand.


Laterally bend your torso to the side and then repeat to the other side.
Return to starting position.

Single Leg Plank Raise

1. Start by forming a straight plank with your forearms and feet as the contact points on the ground.


2. Once the plank is formed raise one foot off the ground and then return to the starting position.


3. Repeat this movement for the desired repetitions alternating back and forth between legs.
