How You Can Build Lean Muscle Fast

If you want to build muscle fast then you need to adapt your weight lifting training, diet plan and lifestyle in order to gain quality lbs of rock hard new muscle.


If you are a skinny hard gainer and looking to get big quick then you will want to bulk up. This generally doesn't involve just gaining lean muscle and you will put on some fat in the process due to the high calorie diet and lack of cardio training that you may need in order to bulk up.


When i refer to building lean muscle i am talking about gaining muscle whilst loosing or maintaining body fat. The increase in body weight will be attributed to lean muscle gain.


It is possible to gain 1-2lbs a week but this generally is not lean muscle and is often as a result of heavy weight training and a high calorie diet. If you want lean gains of just muscle then results take a lot longer to see and you will often find that you will only gain 1-2lbs per month.


There is a whole range of weight lifting workouts to choose from if you want to build lean muscle fast. Most workouts will help you build muscle if you are consistent, dedicated and have a good clean diet and supplement plan.

Here are 5 great tips to help you build lean muscle fast


1. Keep it under 10

Never perform more then 10 reps of any exercise. Choose a weight you cannot lift more then 10 times, this will use the most muscle fibres and stimulate more growth.


2. Keep it intense

Stop taking breaks. It is so tempting to sit around between sets doing nothing. If you have to rest between sets then keep in under 60seconds and use the time to stretch and flex the muscles.

3. Turn the volume down

One exercise per muscle group is enough if you are doing the exercise to fully exhaust the muscles.


4. 3-5 sets

This is the ideal set range you should be looking for if you want to build muscle.


5. Increase you strength

This is easy, just add 1-2lbs to the bar every week and you will gradually get stronger and stronger as your body will not adapt to the weight.
