The Best Dumbbell Back Exercises
For Massive Lats

The are loads of dumbbell back exercises and simply by using a set of dumbbells you can get a great workout. People often under estimate the value of dumbbells and look at using the fancy resistance machines in the gym. Forget fancy machines and pick up a pair of dumbbells the next time you workout.

Dumbbells offer a greater range of motion for each workout and you can work each side of your body individually.

Dumbbell rows

3. Raise dumbbell up to your midsection keeping back still throughout movement.

Dumbbell bent over row

dumbbell back exercises

1) Stand with feet hip width and knees slightly bent.

2) Start position: Bend at hips with back straight. Hold DB in each hand with neutral grip (palms facing each other) and let arms straight down (perpendicular to floor).

3) Keeping elbows close to body, pull DB's up to body and squeeze shoulder blades together at top of movement.

4) Return to start position.
Remember to keep back and head straight - hyperextension or flexion may cause injury

Please be extra careful when exercising your back using these dumbbell back exercises. The back muscles are easily pulled due to incorrect lifting technique. Always stretch and warm up prior to and after working out.
