Hard gainers often want to build muscle fast, but what they fail to do and realize is that the muscle building process actually takes a long time, especially if you are genetically skinny or have a fast metabolism.
You can speed up the muscle building process by following a sound training and nutrition program and sticking to them without fail. If you would like an extra 10lbs or more in the next 12 weeks or so then this is an achievable target even if you thought muscle building was impossible.
try not to perform more then 10 reps. As a hard gainer you will want to recruit as much muscle fibres as possible per workout so keep the weights heavy and the reps low. You should fail to lift the 11th rep no matter how hard you try. To get the most out of your workout you should be training intensely and not taking lots of rest between sets. Decrease your rest time between sets, up the pace a little and watch your muscles grow bigger.
