"Drop a jean size in 2 weeks" This is the claim from the special k plan.
This must be the easiest diet to follow. All you have to do is eat one bowl (approx 45g) of Kellogg's Special K, or other Kelloggs cereal, with semi-skimmed milk for breakfast, and then another to replace lunch or dinner it's that simple folks.

For the main meal you can eat anything which is considered balanced and healthy. You can snack throughout the day if you wish but stick to fruit and other healthy snacks.
The special k diet plan only lasts for 2 weeks and a weight loss of around 6lbs should be achievable, more if you exercise regularly.
You do not have to stick to special k and can use other cereal such as cornflakes, crunchy nut cornflakes and similar and you don't even have to use the kelloggs brand.
Keep a food diary to keep track of what you eat throughout the day.
Bare in mind that this diet only works for 2 weeks so is only good for an initial weight loss. Saying this it works and it works well.
You will get the feeling of hunger throughout the day but don't be tempted to snack on rubbish, snack on fresh fruit and vegetables if needed.
The principles of this diet can be applied to anything such as replace two meals with protein shakes (similar to slim fast) or soup.
There are other better diets out there then the special k diet plan in my opinion and if you want regular weight loss then you should stick to proper meal plans and exercise routines to ensure you lose weight weekly.
