There are 3 main body types we are going to look at. Mesomorphs, Ectomorphs and Endomorphs.
EctoMorphs
There ectomorphs are naturally skinny, and find it near impossible to gain any sort of weight or muscle. They usually can eat whatever they want and not get fat because of there fat metabolism.
EndoMorphs
The endomorph is basically the opposite of an ectomorph, they are of a naturally fat body type who gains weight just after smelling a chocolate bar.
Mesomorphs
The mesomorph is the genetically gifted they can gain weight like an endomorph and loose fat like an ectomorph. Mesomorphs are natural bodybuilders and athletes.
As a hardgainer your body type is probably of Ectomorph. The hardgainer program is designed to accommodate the ectomorphs needs when it comes to gaining weight. This program will not make your skin turn green and your muscles rip your clothes like the hulk, but it will make you gain weight if followed correctly and consistently.
